SEXUAL HARASSMENT BREAKING THE TRUST: Sexual Harassment on Campus This video provides an educational resource, especially for Canadians in an educational setting, on the nature of sexual harassment and how to prevent it. Sexual harassment is analyzed as a particular form of abuse of authority and power which, along with being illegal, violates the ethics of teaching and learning. While attention focuses on sexual harassment as it occurs on high school, college and university campuses, the suggested causes and the solutions offered will in many cases be easily transferred to other settings.
EVERYBODY'S PROBLEM This video documentary explores sexual harassment in the workplace and its effects on productivity. It encourages discussion about the problem and offers suggestions on how men and women can work more effectively together.
LOVE TAPS This video is a powerful drama about teens, relationships and dating violence. Designed as a discussion-starter, the video deals with some disturbing issues. Previewing before use is highly recommended. The stories of two teen relationships are featured.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT IN THE WORKPLACE An excellent video that discusses what sexual harassment is, how human rights law deals with sexual harassment, and how it can be discouraged in the workplace. A narrative-interview format is used.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT IN HIGH SCHOOL: We Can Do Something About It This video is geared to encouraging discussion among students and teachers about sexual harassment and show to stop it. High school students role-play actual sexual harassment experiences of young high school women. A complementary workbook is also available.
TAKING ACTION Petro-Canada's Taking Action is geared to internal employees and management. Moderated by Peter Gzowski, the video features "real" company staff and presents a number of workplace sexual harassment scenarios. This video gives employees a good overview of what sexual harassment may constitute and does a good job of explaining the role and responsibilities of management and employers.
WORKPLACE HUSTLE This video explores the topic of sexual harassment in the workplace. Moderated by actor Ed Asner, it combines narrative and dramatic scenes in a production that is well paced and informative.
